Alrighty guys.
So after spending hours reading forums and stuff, I figured out how to install Windows 8.
I followed all of the steps. But now, I am unable to boot into Windows 7. When I try, it comes up with this screen that says

Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:

1. Insert your Windows installation disc and restart your computer.
2. Choose your language settings and then click "next."
3. Click 'repair your computer'.

If you do not have the disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance.
File: \Boot\BCD
Status: 0xc0000225
Info: An error occured while attempting to read the boot configuration data.

I am typing this from the Windows 8 portion. Here is a screenshot of my partitions:

Please help

EDIT:
Here is a screenshot of my Visual BCD Editor
For Win7:

For Win8

Thanks

I too would like to know if it is possible to set up a dual boot system with one option being Windows 8 the other Windows 7. Then maybe I could play some of the games I`ve bought that are not compatible with Win8.

Yes. it's possible - I have several os multibooting.

As you already have Boyans program - may as well use it.

Rt click win7 entry select DELETE.

Rt click Loaders and select Create missing Windows Loaders

Thank you very much, that has progressed me further...i guess. Now i get this message.

Ok - thanks - I am sure boyans will fix that.

Open an elevated command now and type:

bcdboot c:\windows

Then press enter.

Did it give you an error message?

It's slightly unusual to have two active partitions on the same HD.

LOL - did you get an error message when you ran bcdboot command?

It should default to system - but because you two active flags it may be getting lost.

Interesting - go to folder options and show hidden files and protected operating system files - then have a look on you win7 partition

See if you can find a fella called bootmgr - see if he is 389kb.

Then give the 199mb partition a letter e.g. S. Have look and see how big our friend bootmgr is on the 199mb partition.

That's win7 bootmgr.

If it on the root of the drive as well - i.e. F:\bootmgr , I am curious what it is doing there.

Did you move partitions around to create the 199mb thing - or did you have that all along with win7.

What same results? You are looking to check what bootmgr is on there.

Did you find win8 bootmgr (389kb ) on S .

It must be there.

BTW - in the screenie you just posted you do not have protected operating system files showing. Therefore you cannot see if bootmgr is on F.

By that I mean the root of F - not inside lots of directories - the one you showed is in winsxs - the one you are looking for will be directly on F , i.e. F:\bootmgr.

There should also be S:\bootmgr.

You are looking for bootmgr without any wavy lines.

you cannot see it until you show hidden and protected operating system files.

It's not helping much - why not just got to folder options ( you will find them in control panel ) click the View Tab make sure hidden files are showing - untick the box about protected os files - ok it all.

Now have a look on the drive -no need for search.

You should have win8 bootmgr on there - he should be 389 kb.

If the 389 kb one is there on S - then it should understand win7 winload.exe digital sig.

If the correct one is there - that leaves a couple of possibilities. One is that the second Active partition is causing a problem. The other is that winload is actaully damaged - very unlikely.
