I have Win 7 on a 60gb ssd hard drive.
I would like to put another 60gb ssd drive in my computer and run win 8 off of this.
Is it possible to run this as a dual boot system.
Will I get the option to boot into either when I boot up.

Thanks.

sure, whenever multiple os's are detected, a boot menu is created, at startup you can choose which os to boot, you can also go into pc settings somewhere and choose which OS to make your default

How can I boot either without going through BIOS?

I have Windows 8 installed on one disk and Windows 7 on another. I can boot either by changing the boot priority in BIOS.
But how do I change the Windows 8 boot manager to show both Windows 8 and Windows 7 and give me a choice when it boots up? (They were installed separately.)

==== SOLVED ====

I found the solution:
Windows boot menu doesn't appear when booting - Super User

Dual Boot Installation - Windows 8 and Windows 7 or Vista

From the above tutorial,

If you dual boot Windows 8 with another OS (ex: Windows 7 or Vista) with Windows 8 set as the default OS to run at startup, then it gives you the Change default or choose other options link as in the example screenshot below to make it easier to boot into the Startup Options menu for more System Recovery Options.
