Hello again to all. Can anyone please explain because this a little bit confuses me, CREATING a SYSTEM IMAGE, now that I have a DUAL BOOT win7-win8 OS.

>>I want to know if I CREATE A SYSTEM IMAGE via windows 7 (my default OS), and then later, if ever I RESTORE THIS CREATED SYSTEM IMAGE, will the setup on WINDOWS 8 & WINDOWS 7, still be the same working on DUAL BOOT?

>>OR IS IT THAT I HAVE TO CREATE THE SYSTEM IMAGE via windows 8?

thanks again for any info.

when you create a system image of your computer, yes it will recreate everything it sees on your computer, including multiple OS's and of course the boot loader to let you choose which OS to run.

Please follow the instructions carefully of your imaging software.

>>i am making a clarification because i have not tried restoring any system image before. so the win7-win8 dual boot will still work the same way at the time when i created the system image (if at any time i restore my system image for any reason).

>>secondly does it matter where i create my system image, meaning do i have to create system image when i am on windows 7 or when i am on windows 8?
