Solved Roll back to Win 7?

Hello All, I hope you can advise. I have decided I would prefer to put up with the problems I was having with Win 7's ever recurring Critical Updates than the difficulties I am experiencing with Win 8.
I bought Win 8 Pro, did a system backup, and upgraded using the 64 bit version (CPU is an i7). First I got - almost immediately - a message that "kdbsync.exe has stopped working ..." However, even after it closes, it does not affect the running of Win 8 that I can detect. Worse is the problem that when I start IE, it also reports a problem and asks to be shut down. This happens at various, but short, time intervals after starting, but always happens. Firefox, though - how embarrasing - runs like a charm (sorry).
I have reinstalled Win 8 from my purchased disk three times now, and no different outcome.

So, is there a fix for IE? If not at this stage, or my problem is unique, please advise how I can roll back to Win 7 until Win 8 is a little more mature and Service Packs have been issued.

The backup I did was on to another HDD in my computer. The Operating system is on a Raid set-up (1Tb) as Drive C:

Hope someone can help.

Found my Win 7 Repair Disk. Booted from it, and restored from the system backup I did prior to installing Win 8.

Back to Win 7 without a glitch.
