Hi,
I'm trying to upgrade from Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 8 Pro via the Keep-Everything upgrade option.
Every attempt has the install failing after hitting 29% completion.
I've re-downloaded 3 times, have uninstalled everything that the upgrader suggested was incompatible (including security software), have tried installing from a USB, and closing all non-windows processes. I never downloaded any W8 Previews.
I know the 'quick-fix' is to pick the Keep-Nothing option, though I'd like to avoid that as much as possible since it will mean having to re-install a couple of month's worth of bandwidth.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
