Hi all - here is the issue I am having. I am upgrading to Windows 8 Pro from Windows 7 Pro (64-bit) on my desktop. All of my hardware is compatible, and I've removed any software that was not. Setup runs just fine. The problem I am having is that I have no mouse or keyboard when I get to the "Preferences" (where you select your color scheme) after initial install and have no mouse or keyboard support.
I have a wired Logitech illuminate keyboard and wireless Logitech MX620 mouse. I have tried a different wired keyboard and wired mouse and still don't have the mouse or keyboard operational. They both just shut down. The USB ports are live, though. I've checked using USB-powered devices. Dual-booting or clean installs are not an option.
Any tablet options that might have been accidentally set on my desktop are now disabled.
Any help is much appreciated.
