Dual Boot Issues

I have Windows 7 Ultimate on a primary HD. I installed a 2nd HD for Windows 8 Pro. I umpugged primary and installed 8 on the 2nd hard drive. Then I plugged primary hd back in. When it starts up it goes through a disk check EVERYTIME. How do I avoid this? I would prefer for it to boot up to the primary Win 7 HD unless I want to click boot options toget into the Win 8 drive. Your help is appreciated.

The best way, would be to dual boot Windows 7 & Windows 8 is to follow this tutorial:
