If you have 2 PC's that are 32bit, one ISO 32bit need.
If you have 2 PC's that are 64bit, one ISO 64bit need.

thanks for the reply but i was aware that i cant change from 32 to 64 bits. both systems are on 64bit windows7, i used the updrade assistant to buy and generate the ISO's and wasnt offered the option to choose 32 or 64 bit so i assume that i have 64bit ISO's

The download isn't specific for the PC on which it was downloaded. You can run the upgrade on any PC that is compatible.

You'll need a unique license key for each PC you want to activate Win8 on, of course.

Incidentally: you can use an upgrade license to install a 64 bit version of Win8 on a machine with a 32 bit qualifying OS (XP, Vista, 7). You'd have to boot from the installation medium (DVD or USB key drive), and you'd need to do a clean install (no upgrade-in-place).

You'll need a license/product code for each PC. You can't use the one code on more than one PC, just in case you didn't know. ;)

As you are download from x64, the upgrade assistant will download x64.

If you need to, you can redownloadi from the email link.

Your Windows Store email said:
If you need to download Windows, write down your new product key and enter it here.

Than make the ISO, & burn to DVD.
