Well after an unsucessful attempt to get adjusted to Windows 8 I finally decided to uninstall it and it's just won't go away!!! It totally messed up the booting process now when I restart my PC it tries to repair itself and when it can't it offers a screen to boot into a different OS(I have a triple-boot: Vista, 7 and 8). I then can go into 7 with no problem but it bugs me that I can't get rid of 8 entirely. I tried with the 7 disc to repair it but it doesn't work. Is there any way to get rid of the remnants of that disaster known as Windows 8 short of doing a complete wipe and reinstall??

Hello Davy,

While in Windows 7, see if the below may be able to help fully delete Windows 8.

http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/2372-dual-boot-windows-7-windows-8-delete-windows-8-a.html

and

Windows Boot Manager - Delete a Listed Operating System - Windows 7 Forums

Hope this helps for now, :)
Shawn
I tried the second option you listed and geez it was easier than I thought...Run-msconfig-boot-made Windows 7 the default OS then deleted the Windows 8 listing....worked like a charm!!! Mucho Thanx Shawn!!!:dinesh:
