Cant open backup folder......

Hi there, Im new, sorry if i have posted this on the wrong thread however i have now installed win 8 pro on my laptop and the guy at the computer shop did a backup of my data and then put it on the hard drive after WIN8 was installed, I have a folder on my desktop which states my backup.... However whenever i try to open it i get the message below :/
