i have mentioned this problem in another of my topics, but since there was no actual response to it, i decided to start a new topic

I have computer with 1TB hard drive, and since that wasnt enough for me, I bought external disk. however, since i use it mostly as a primary drive, its plugged in the computer all the time.
now, the problem is that it when plugged in, booting process takes veeeeeeery long time. how can i prevent it to start it up during the computer start up, and to run when the windows is started?

that would be a little complicated, considering my desk's size and shape and cable lenght.
Hard disk is behind my desk, so to unplug it would take moving the desk every time i boot my computer. Is there a way to make change to bios setting which would prevent loading from specific port during the booting process or something like that?

You will need to set the Hard Drive as 1st Boot Drive in BIOS:

Press DEL/F10. There are many more, these are just examples. And a BIOS is usually Blue Background and White text.

I've set hard disk first, then nothing, then nothing. But it wont start windows boot until external hd is started up.
