Will there be any specific hardware needed for Windows 8 ? (eg) 64bit CPUs, Graphics Card, Sound Card, minimum RAM ? appreciate any advice

I would expect that, like Seven, Eight will need no special hardware. It will just have minimum specs, and it's likely would run on a PC that can run Seven. A Guy

Those specs seem to be..ah...well....
Motherboard - Asus P5GC-MX Intel 945 chipset? I kinda like Gigabyte
Processor - Intel Dual Core? Might be a problem for tablets
RAM - 2 GB @ 1333 Mhz, so 1066MHZ isn't going to work
Hard drive - 250 GB, for an OS
Was hoping the OS would be smaller than that
Optical Drive - 20x DVD Writer, Is this that floppy drive thing I heard about?

It doesn't make sense. Any rig that can run Windows 7 smoothly will probably run Windows 8 too.
