My problem is that, sometimes it works and sometimes don't. When I turn my laptop and TV on, sometimes it detect 1920x1080 and the logo of windows 8 and it works. Then sometimes when i turn it on again, it detects 640x480 and the logo windows 8 shows after that my TV went no signal. It's really frustrating. I tried disable my display adapter the restart it, It detects 640x480 but after that i still can log on to my laptop but it's 640x480, when i try to enable it again, it went no signal again, so frustrating. I appreciate it if someone know how to fix this, i think the problem is the display adapter cause when i tried other laptop it works.

Some TV's do not handle HDMI handshake too much. One camp says use a powered Switcher. Another says use Redmere cables.
