Hi,

I have already a ready usb disk on key with the windows ready for installing.

I have nvidia gtx 770 video card.
Now i have the latest drivers 350.12 but i want to make a new clean install of my windows 8 and the problem is that windows will install the latest drivers but i want it to install drivers version 347.88.

Can i force the windows in the installation options while installing to install the version
347.88 ? If not can i force windows not to install the video card drivers at all so i can install it later ?

And after installing
347.88 can i set somewhere in the windows that it will not try to install in the future the latest video drivers version and only will alert if there is a new version ?

windows 8.1 setup media will not install the newest drivers - windows update will - once you get online..

during installation - do not connect to your router (internet) - thus preventing the driver download..

install your 347 driver - connect to the internet and install the updates (this will update all your drivers)
after all the updates are completed. going through device manager Roll back the video driver to 347

if that does not work un-install the 350 driver through device manager and it should roll back to 347

Actually you will have both driver versions on your PC but you will have to tell device manager to roll back to the older version..

you could also block automatic driver updates > control panel > system > advanced system properties > Hardware > device installation settings
