Thank you Bill. First post updated.
Well like I said I use auto detect from amd and what I have now is what the auto detect gave me and I've never had a problem with having the wrong update or version since using the auto detect so I think I'm good. Not everyone may have the exact same versions because everyone's computer is different.
I checked with auto detect and it says I have the updated version of the driver and the auto detect utility is updated it seems like (last updated was in September). Should I be worried about this new update that came out today? Does the auto detect not tell you about those new kind of updates that was just posted today?
I don't think it autodetects beta drivers.
Have the initial problems with the Crimson drivers now been sorted out?
New AMD Catalyst 15.30.1025.1001 WHQL driver available. See first post for more details.
New AMD 16.1 hotfix available. See first post for more details.
Oh dear, there are still too many problems to upgrade. It seems AMD's software QA is almost as bad as Microsoft?
Edit - I've now installed the latest version and it seems fine. Another benefit is that the many informational events in the log ACEEvent are no longer reported - see AMD Graphics Card Floods Event Log - ACEEvent
