Laptop hdmi input

Is there any way I can output the content of my samsung galaxy note 2 to my dell inspiron 7520 laptop via hdmi or vga socket? From my research I found that only the alienware laptops have hdmi input. Any help will be appreciated.

That pretty much answers your question. Usually HDMI, DVI and VGA are only output ports to feed a projector or external monitor. I haven't look for an adapter but maybe Computer Parts, Cables and Hard to Find Computer Accessories - Cyberguys.com has something or maybe one of the camera/video sites.

You will need a capture card, which requires a desktop, sorry
