Solved Strange text distortion

Apparently it started a few weeks ago and only on certain websites, certain letters look distorted and I can't figure out why it happens or how to fix it- at first I thought it had to do with the AMD 14.x drivers but it still happens with an Nvidia card in it and I'm using a BenQ GL2450HM and there doesn't seem to be any issues found about it. I also disabled hardware acceleration in the browsers and it doesn't seem to be any different and also tried HDMI and DVI.

I currently use 125% text scale in Windows, tried it at 100% and still occurs but at certain zoom it gets worse.

Has anyone seen this type of thing and know any fix? This is most noticeable on Battlelog, notice purple-green blending around the words "awful smell" and orange around the letter I:

What you mention is not visible in your screen shot. Keep in mind a screen shot is a capture of the data sent to the video card, not actually what is seen on the monitor. Since you swapped video cards its likely an issue with your monitor. I'd try it on another PC.

Looks like I fixed it, seems the monitor had DDC turned on, I reset the settings not long ago and I guess it turned back on.

Thanks for the response anyhow.
