So my graphics card, GeForce GT 740M, stopped working and its whining "Windows has stopped this device becouse it has reported problem (Code 43)" Or something like that, hard to translate exact words since my OS isnt in english. I have tried new drivers and ive tried to reinstall my windows. Nothing seems to help. It might be a hardware issue but i want to be sure before i send this back to store becouse it takes long time to come back. Is here someone with the same problem or someone who have solved it ?
My computer is Acer Aspire V3-771G if thats relevant. My computer has 2 graphics drivers, integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 for normal use and then this Nvidia GeForce GT 740M for more graphic intensive stuff. My computer is brand new and my Nvidia worked just fine but now i can only use my Intel HD Graphics and my Nvidia wont start up even when i go to play some games which normally launched it. I got couple BSOD's (DCP_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION and VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE (there was a 3rd one but cant remember, didnt pick the name up) after these BSOD's it quit working and started telling about this Code 43. If i try to acces my Nvidia control panel is says "You are not using a display that is connected with Nvidia GPU". I still can see the program in my device manager and in my system tray and also in my Hardware and Sound section. So it shouldnt be totally broken ?
Is it safe to totally delete everything Nvidia related from my computer, does it affect my warranty or something ? How to reinstall the Nvidia if i delete it ? And ofcourse tell me if you are sure its hardware issue and cant be fixed alone.
(I have other thread called "Cant acces my Nvidia control panel" but the title is kinda misleading so i wanted to start a new thread where i tell the exact problem. If there is some admin or someone who can delete that other thread it would be good, i dont need it.)
Edit: My integrated graphics card works just fine, only Nvidia has problems.
