hello: i have gt 740m 2gb and i'm wondering depending on my laptop if it is possible for me to upgrade to a gtx or add more graphic cards

Yep, laptops usually cannot be "upgraded" beyond adding RAM, swapping in an SSD to replace the hard drive. I have not seen a laptop that allows the GPU to be upgraded...
