intel HD4000 screen brightness problem
hello
i think this is the 4th or 5th time for me to face this problem
the screen brightness is stuck at a low level and i can't change it
every time i have to uninstall the driver and install an older version
although i don't update this problem occur
it there any permanent solution ?

Try the 3304 drivers. I've been using them for quite awhile with no problem. Found them on HP site, hopefully they are cross platform generic ones:

PS: Make sure you have function button software installed if you manufacturer provides one.

If you are letting Windows Update change your Intel graphics drivers, that could be the problem.

Did you try 3304 drivers? Just saying they have been working for me for months. We have similar system specs. It is all I can offer at this point.
