Solved Windows 8.1 - Odd Resolution Discrepancy

I recently updated to Windows 8.1 (64-bit), and I immediately noticed that my resolution had taken a strange turn. Everything except the taskbar seems to be a lower resolution than before. This suspicion was only strengthened when I launched a game that I had running in 1440x900 windowed, and it didn't fit properly on the screen. I checked my display settings and used printscreen to check the resolution and both said 1920x1080, but when I used Puush to take a desktop screenshot, it came out as 1536x864, whereas before installing 8.1, desktop screenshots came out as 1920x1080. I tried changing the resolution and changing it back, but I'm still having the issue. If anyone knows anything about what the problem could be, I'd greatly appreciate any help.

Thank you for your help. I just checked now, and according to the website, as well as their automatic updater, the driver I have installed is the most recent.

Oh, and just to rule it out, I've tried restarting my computer, which didn't make a difference.

EDIT: I did more experimenting with Puush screenshots, and it seems that when I try to take an area screenshot, it offsets the screenshot (i.e. it captures an area starting left and up from where I selected), as though it were capturing from the vertical and horizontal position relative to the pixel count of the 1536x864 resolution, but offsetting the capture area to match the vertical and horizontal position of the 1920x1080 resolution.

EDIT 2: I've identified the source of the problem. After the update, the size of text and other items had been set to 125%. I had tried changing it before, but it seemed to have made a much larger difference the first time I tried changing it. This also checks out with the resolution difference (i.e. 1536 is 1920*4/5, 864 is 1080*4/5).
