Gang I have a sapphire card for which I needed to setup a Preset with adjusted [lengthened, unfortunately] idle and core clock settings to keep the driver from timing out all too frequently.
After not using the system for a few days [shut down] I came back to find that the settings are unapplied, the card returned I guess to default state, and Overdrive switched OFF [I keep it ON].
What's at the root of this? Where is the settings info stored? Did I get hit by a phantom update or something without notification?
Its OK now but I had to go manually re-apply the Preset, then turn ON Overdrive again.
Stable now. Certainly not stable in default config
