Screen/GFX card is dead?

Uhm so i dont know how to explain this but basically my screens kinda broken. 2 flies kept passing around me and I tried swatting it away with my hand, and when I did that my earphonescaught me hand and one of the buds hit my screen and this happened.. I took a picture of it to see what it looks like.. I don't know what to do, please help..

Do you know how much that might cost? because its not a trojan or a joke image, and when I tried making a screenshot it didnt go through so i took an irl pic and thats what it is.

If you get it via HP, then it will cost you an arm and a leg, but if your computer is older then 12-24 month, then it could be that you are unable to get it via HP, as they drop their service pretty early.

You can get the screen out, just search on youtube for your model + screen replacement etc., and it should have somewhere on the back a part-number.

Google with the part number for a replacement. A screen is usually between 80-120 bucks, but if you go to a rip-off PC-Shop, then you could get charged something like 350 bucks, even that it's max 15-30min work.

That should be the whole LCD-Unit, but without a bezel. I never bought it in a different way.

No, that should be all you need. Remove your broken LCD and double-check, that you order the right one. There are so many different models on the market, like with Laptop-Keyboards as well.

If you are unsure, just contact them.
