Solved AMD Radeon HD 6800M Stopped Working

Hello,

Today I just installed Windows 8 enterprise from Windows 7 Home Premium,
I had to make a clean install because they didnt let me do the upgrade from Win7 Home premium.

When I ended installing win8, I checked the device manager, and showed me that AMD Radeon HD 6800M was not working.

My video card is an AMD Radeon HD 6870M.

I have to say, I dont think this is the only problem I have from updating the OS to win8, but I think is one of the most important to solve.

Thank you, I tried updating the drive although they said they were only for win7, and it worked. Never guessed that.

Today I instal win 8 pro on my alienware M17 R3, not clean instal just update since i buy the serial online from Microsoft store
when installing win i keep all my setting and file and its look everything running great.
after a few hours my laptop start to freeze especially after booting ( going to win 8 login ) and sometime freeze to when i play some game or doing my work ( adobe work )
when i check my system on device manager its show my graphic card ( amd radeon hd 6900M Series ) need to update driver or reinstall again, yes i do the work i download and reinstall the driver from much source and some from the AMD site too,, but the freeze and error still happens even the drivers already update on device manager
