Intel HD 4000 not even using the dedicated video memory of

Modifying a BIOS for any reason must be considered very high risk. A failure would almost certainly result in an unbootable system. Recovery would likely require physical replacement of the BIOS chip by a qualified technician.

Note that modifying the BIOS would not change the hardware characteristics, only your ability to control them. If the hardware does not support 64 MB video RAM then modifying the BIOS will not change this. The lack of a related BIOS setting strongly indicates this.

I don't see the problem here. HD 4000 has 32mb but the shared memory can go up to 2GB depending how much RAM you got.

64mb would not give much improvement and you cannot have that: it's cpu dependent. So if your cpu has a Intel HD 4000 with 32mb then you cannot increase anything to 64mb. If it has 64mb from factory, than that's another story.

Also it would depend how is shown on Advanced setting on screen resolution, maybe it does't have a fixed allocated memory but uses a dynamic allocation as it would show under shared video memory
