I have problems with the video

notebook acer aspire 5024wlmi (un po' datato, ma in perfetta tenuta), SO xp sp3 32bit, cpu amd turion 64 ml-34, ram 2 gb ddr, scheda video ati mobility radeon x700 128 mb, risoluzione 1280x800.

    salve a tutti , potreste aiutarmi ?
    GRAZIE assai

Hello everyone, could you help me?

from the moment I upgraded aw 8 pro I have problems with the video, you see jerky and the audio is not in sync with the images (streaming, you tube etc.). Moreover, it is impossible to operate the controls, brightness adjustment, etc..

initially thought that the problem was the fact that a video card was detected basic microsoft 1024x768 resolution instead of ati.

I was able to detect the video card ati installing the Catalyst 10.2 or 9.3 with modified drivers using mobility modder. hence, the resolution of the screen is back to being 1280x800.

However, the problem of video images is undiminished.
before reaching this solution I tried to install other versions versions of Catalyst, without making any changes to them with the modders. it was found that those that have been installed, they have given way to detect the video card ati, noting that the system always microsoft, but I was given to take advantage of the processor to its full potential (1800 MHz), which meant that the video images might suffer a slight improvement (or at least so it seems). through the tash manager I have no way to see that the processor is almost always hanged whenever I try to watch video.

I want to clarify that this problem does not happen when installed xp as OS. and add that the internet should not be the case because there are 2 other laptops in the house which does not give me problems like this.

could you tell me what is causing this problem? What can I do?

sorry for the slowness, but I thought I should give all the information I have.
    THANK YOU very
    Ciao guianin,
