I was playing League of Legends, yeah sorry : ( I like videogames! : D

Ive been playing that game for almost two years now, and this time.. soething crashed, I dont know why. Screen was purple color, squares.. it frozzzed. I restarted, and when i wanted to see if everything was OK, green lines appeared all over the monitor, i was scared because never like that happen before.

Here's a picture:

After doing the Windows 8 problem solutions, it said PCI didnt have driver, and NVIDIA GFORCE wasnt working properly, maybe something about hardware.
But I havent touched the hardware D:

That's why everything is so confusing to me.

Can you guys hep me out?
I just want those green lines out of my screen : (

Is the graphic card dead? :/

thank you for your time.

While it COULD be the card, more likely, the monitor is failing. I've had similar things happen to me twice -- a few years ago with a Dell 24" flat panel, and then this week, with an old 17" flat panel. I swapped out the 17" with another 17" flat panel -- and the lines went away instantly.
