The "M" indicates that it's probably a Mobility Radeon chipset -- and generally, the best place to get those is from the manufacturer of the laptop you are using -- because they sometimes customize the chipset so that only their drivers work.

When you day it "dont work with Win8" -- what does that mean? DO you get only a black screen? Do you get a desktop but can't set the resolution to what you want?

Asking because Win8 is pretty good at detecting AMD video chipsets and installing the right drivers -- that has been done on three PCs I have, and I didn't once have to download a driver for any of them.

If you want to get them yourself from AMD, go to the link below and select -- Notebook Graphics, Radeon HD series, Radeon HD series 6xxxM series -- and which OS version you are running:

yes, with OEMs, they often lock you into their versions of the drivers. going to ATI/AMD or Nvidia, you'll find the installer fails because of the lockout. it's unfortunate because the OEMs are often slow to update and they're the first to retire the hardware, hoping that you get a new computer.

The problem is : The Radeon GPU is not working with Win 8. I got a Intel HD Graphics 3000 that the PC go`s on. But i installed a driver yesterday that pretty much f***** up the pc. It was turning on and off, than restarted and repeted.
But i need the driver link to the GPU, i need CCC.

And another thing, when i try to open CCC, it says that Windows cant find anything to change on. HELP ME

Are you saying that you have Intel integrated graphics and you are trying to switch to an ATI graphics card? If so, did you disable the on-board (integrated) graphics option (if applicable) in your BIOS as part of the 6490M installation process?

I got to intergrated Grapchic Cards, ATI Radeon 6490M HD and Intel Grapchic 3000. I want to use the Radeon but the pc cant find anything to change in CCC. And in the Device Manager they find the Radeon but they cant start it.

I don't think you have two integrated graphic cards. When I say 'integrated", I am referring to a graphics' solution that is hardware embedded into the motherboard. However, in your case, is it possible you ordered the ATI 6490M as an upgraded graphics' solution? If so, is there an option in your BIOS to "turn off/disable" the Intel integrated graphics? Toggling this option (if present) might allow the ATI 6490M to be properly recognized.
