hi I recently upgraded to windows 8 from xp (with I downgraded from vista) and everything is working fine except I cant find a graphics driver that will work for my computer
I went to NVidia.com and let it scan my computer for wich driver I needed and it said I needed a GeForce 7150M / nForce 630M driver and I tried to use it but it said it wouldn't work on this operating system ( I even tried to use compatibility mode) then I downloaded a few beta drivers but again nothing worked can anyone help me

with notebooks, you cannot use the drivers from Nvidia or AMD/ATI. it's usually forbidden by the OEMs like HP, Dell, etc. who want you to go to their sites and get their versions of the driver.

did you try going to LaptopVideo2Go: NVIDIA & Laptop News
that place will have the modified INF files in order to use any Nvidia driver for your laptop rather than depending on HP. at some point, all products get retired and will get no further driver support from the OEM even if Nvidia or AMD keep releasing newer drivers.
