Camera app issues with Catalyst Legacy drivers

There's a huge issue with the Catalyst Legacy drivers AMD released for 2000 to 4000 series cards. After installing them, the Camera app displays the following problem after launch:

"Sorry. The camera app cannot be used with this version of Windows"

Reverting back to stock Windows 8 drivers solve the problem.

Anyone has the same problem?

yes. the catalyst legacy drivers have a ton of problems with Windows 8.

try to do any of your streaming apps or DRM apps with them... to save you the time, you can't. they won't work.
