Hi there
sometimes it seems when plugging in a laptop to an LCD TV monitor the picture seems slightly larger than the screen which can be annoying as the charms or task bar can get hard to see or access.
This can actually be fixed on a lot of monotors - for example the Samsung ones -- Note IT'S NOT A VIDEO DRIVER ISSUE.
GO into the MONITORS Menu and select picture mode. Look for something like Aspect Ratio.
Change 16:9 which it usually is to SCAN / AUTOSCAN or whatever seems like that
Hey presto the picture will now fit on the screen perfectly.
I often use a laptop which has an HDMI output on TV monitors - especially when travelling - and it often irritated me why I could never get the picture to fit perfectly on the screen (Native size of laptop screen 1366 X 768 --fine on an 11 inch screen -- but it does have full 1080p HDMI output as well as RGB monitor output and this is 1920 X 1080 OK also for screens up to 44 ins.
Hope this little trick helps some people --I Googled everywhere about this but couldn't find it.
Cheers
