I've tried to disable other devices as instructed ,but to be honest i was not sure which ones to disable.

Any Ideas/ comments welcome.

Hi XDleader555,
Thanks for your prompt reply. Unfortunately i cannot get either of the programs to install.
I can download them, extract them but that is as far as it goes. I list below what i downloaded 32bit Intel HD First Gen x86_2622.exe and also 32bit Win7Vista8_151719.exe

Sorry to be a pain in the a--- but any idea what i'm doing wrong, I've tried four times but still no luck.

Regards Dom

You need the Custom Certificate installer installed first. This enables the Driver to be installed. And you only want the driver for your card, which is in the "Mobile Intel Series 4 Driver" section. If there is a specific error code, that would be helpful.

Hi XDleader555,
Sorry to trouble you again but i'm still having trouble with installing the driver for Mobile Intel Series 4 Chipset family.
I know i'm doing something bloody silly, but i cant work out what. Perhaps if i run through step by step what i'm doing you might see what i'm doing wrong.

Step 1. Download and install The Custom Certificate Installer. I'm using Chrome. I downloaded both MainMirror and MainMediaFire. I click on option 1 and installed as an administrator. Receive confirmation message.

Step 2. Download 32bit Win7Vista8_151719.exe

Step 3. unzip file using 7zip

Step 4 .That's it i can go no further .please see screen shot View attachment 15002View attachment 15003

Hi XDleader555,
Just to let you know I still could not get the the file to install no matter what I tried , I 100% successfully installed the Custom Certificate Installer first.

Anyway I contacted Intel tech support and explained the problem I was having, Yellow triangle next to Series 4 Chipset in device manager and unable to connect PC to TV via VGA lead.

They said it might be a corrupt version of windows 8, and advised me to use the "Refresh" option in Windows 8.
This i did and when i checked in device manager, the yellow triangle next to Series 4 Chipset had gone.
I then connected PC to TV all works fine. I don't know if this info is any good to you but i thought it might be. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you l your help in this matter.
