Windows 8 desktop larger than screen on external monitor -

Hi there
I've got a laptop computer that ONLY has HDMI output -- no PC / VGA.

I've connected a LCD TV to it (HDMI).

The desktop image is slightly larger than the Monitor making navigation very cumbersome

doesn't seem to matter which resolution I choose.

Graphics is Intel HD graphics

Any solutions peeps. !!! I've tried all the output to panel options etc.

Does the TV/Monitor have any resize options in its menu? I can remember having to do this on one of my old CRT monitors to get things all squared up and on screen.
