Cant change screen resolution, please help
Hi, I upgraded to windows 8 on my HP pavilion dv6000
I can not change the resolution, its driving me crazy! if someone can help you'd be saving the day!
I have a choice of 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768
I have searched for hours for help on the net, i cant find anything, and anything I can find doesn't work.

I have geforce go 7400 on laptop hp pavilion dv6304tx, it says there are no current drivers are available for my configuration on the nvidia site and the HP support site
I also just searched for current drivers and the search said I have the current drivers installed and no update is required.

The latest official driver version I can find for it is the
179.48 for Windows 7.
You might see if the
197.25 driver at the link below may work for you as well. Since it's for Windows 7, you may need to use
compatibility mode to install the driver if it will not install normally.
