Is it possible to force Windows 8 to relinquish all control over the management of things like screen resolution and color control, picture quality, etc. and let the Radeon Catalyst software handle these functions?
It seems to me that there is overlap of functions here and both are trying to do the same things. For example, you can change the resolution when you right click on the desktop by selecting the top item of this menu, the Radeon Catalyst control panel. OR you can change the resolution, color quality, and other items you can do with Catalyst, by selecting the bottom item of this menu, which is the Windows control panel.
Seems to me one or the other should handle the job. Impressions?
