I recently bought a new graphics card. I previously had nVidia GE Force 8400 GS 512 MB. Now I got nVidia GT 210 512 MB. The problem is that when I was installing the drivers for the graphics card, suddenly BSOD appeared. The error was : VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE (Nvlddmkm.sys)
It did happen with my previous card as well but only when I overclocked it too much but I didn't even touch the default clocks yet of my new card but still it happened. It also happened when I was simply browsing a website. So does the card has a manufacturing defect or what? Please help experts! ...

Before I start shouting it's a power failure, I expect it to be a driver conflict. You should have deleted the old driver before trying to install the new one. Get Driver Fusion and delete all previous drivers concerning NVidia and other GFX drivers. After that you should reboot and install the new driver (windows 8 compatible of course)

Never mind, it was a power failure maybe but it does not matter now as I dumped that GPU because of low performance and got an ATI Radeon HD 5450
