Nothing too bad really.

Just wanted to know if I can adjust the audio for anything new I download or for skype, steam etc.

For an example, every time I open up skype and someone calls me, skypes at max volume. whenever I download any game for the first time, the audio is maxed out on that too.

So basically, setting the sound levels to default for anything I download or alrighty have. That way, I won't have to quickly rip off my headphones. :')

My Computer

System One

  • OS
    Windows HP
  • Open the Control Panel.
  • In the Control Panel, click or Hardware and Sound.
  • Click Sound.
  • In the Sound window click the Sounds tab.
  • In the Program Events section, find the sound you want to disable or change. Then, in the drop-down list in the Sounds section, select (None) if you want to disable the sound or select a different sound file if you want to change the sound.
  • Click OK and Save or Yes if prompted or to save the settings for the currently selected Sound Scheme.
Adjusting system sounds under Hardware and Sound > Sound > Adjust system volume will ensure a low sound/volume on every program you turn on.
