Hi,

I'm using a Samsung notebook series 3 with Windows 8. Recently, the backspace button stopped working when browsing the web. I'm using a Chrome browser. It still works in MS Office and search engines, composing threads etc. The only thing which seems to be effected is web browsing. I have no idea if it is a Chrome issue or a Windows issue. I'm hoping someone here knows how to fix it.

Thanks.

I'm not sure what you mean by those instructions. My issue is not related to typing text, its related to using it as a back button while browsing. In other words, I can no longer go back a page by pushing the backspace button.

i think it migh be a google chrome issue, i just read this article about some backspace drama:
Google restores backspace functionality to Chrome, but there is a catch
If you don't want to go to the effort of moving your mouse pointer to the back arrow at the left of the address bar to go back to the previous site, you can now install the new Go Back With Backspace add-on.

Wow, I can't believe it. I never imagined Chrome would actually take it away without notifying me. Thanks for the info, I think I will install the add-on.
