Hi,
I started copying files onto an external HD. An Error apeard saying that a file could not be copied. I pressed skip, however the process stopped at 55%. I was copying about 750 gb of data. Any ideas how I can continue copying from 55%? Can anyone recomend a file transfer manager of some sort?

Thanks

I recommend copying in small clumps: either 10 giant files 5-10GB total at a time, or a group of files approx'ly 5-10GB worth -- to start. If several of those clumps work well, then try double-clumps [20-14GB] at a time. And, since we do not know which file was the last attempted copied file, start fresh and simply over-write if need be. For a large number of 500MB or less size files -- I recommend TeraCopy, the free version works just fine. And, one can even use FreeFileSync 'cause it gives a running log of what is being done, although I've never been able to save the log after the operation was completed.

Thanks for the suggestion RolandJS. I will use TeraCopy, I've seen it recomeneded else where aswell.
