Q1 -
Exactly how did you "delete" the volume? - Was Ubuntu installed via WUBI or - in its own root partition and swap volume
Assuming you are familiar with Linux:
Q2 - Do you have a Live Linux CD (DVD) - Ubuntu, Mint etc that you can boot the PC from? - it does not need to be the same distro or version that you have "Deleted" - failing that, an equivalent bootable USB drive
Q3 - If Q2 is Yes - what can you see of the disk volumes on the PC - Do you see intact windows drives, and any partition remnants from the Ubuntu distribution? In a terminal, what does sudo fdisk -l tell you?
