Solved Automatic Repair&Diagnosis Loop (Please Help)

So Friday, I tried to boot my computer and ended up with an automatic repair loop. The screen reads automatic repair, then goes to diagnosis and gets stuck here for hours on end. I have a Lenovo G50-45 and Windows 8. After trying to do a hard reset, unplugging the AC and pressing the power button and it not working, I used the novo button on the side of the computer. I tried to reset BIOS settings to defaults but it did not work. I then created a recovery drive with a USB key using my brother's computer. Again, I used the novo button, and managed to boot from the recovery drive from there. I tried system restore but it gets stuck on system restore initializing for more than thirty minutes. I tried bcdedit and it did not work. I have tried bootrec up until rebuildbcd and when I come to rebuildbcd, it keeps processing for more than twenty minutes without results. I have tried chkdsk but it tells me that Windows is locked. I refuse to do One Key Recovery because it will bring me back to factory settings (yes I know, I did not think of doing a backup). I was told that System Refresh is not a great idea. I am trying to find a way to repair this problem. I have work to do on this computer and I would like it to be resolved.

Why is refresh a bad idea? You need to get to your files right?

Refresh isn't supposed to delete files (personal files anyway)


What about getting the windows PE savior USB disk from the legend KYHI?

And booting with that then trying to retrieve your files - and then try the Lenovo one key restore.. Back to Lenovo factory

Also boot using your USB now (from brothers computer) and try "chkdsk c:" in a command prompt

So I decided to buy a Windows 8 easy repair disk. I burned the CD, launched the automatic repair, they told me that all was repaired. I tried to start my computer and it goes directly to repair screen, and I can't access Windows or boot for Windows. Please help.

Do you have Lenovo OneKey Recovery? when you press the Novo button on the side of computer?

Use Lenovo's crapup.. eh.. I mean Backup before you use the Windows Recovery..

And what did you click on that it said "all is repaired"? Show this "repair screen" please..

Phone camera? Or google images even are ways to show. (like above)

The repair install or refresh/reset are specific processes and are all well (well maybe not professionally) documented in websites and even easier on YouTube.. (Usually some guy eating pizza in his messy room showing you the restore process by a handheld camera etc..)

Are you able to go through with the "repair install or not?

Thanks for the advice. So, instead of using Refresh, I spent 20 $ on Easy Repair Software from NeoSmart. I don't think that was a great idea, because I was unable to boot from the hard drive for about thirty minutes, and when I finally did, I realized that only 1/3 of my boots were successful. Today, I had to reboot three times to try to access my desktop, but my battery was low. It shut down, and when I charged my computer and rebooted, it got stuck on a splash screen loop. I still had the USB drive I made using my brother's computer, so I changed my BIOS to enable booting from the USB, booted from there, and tried to system restore. I got a message about not having an operating system. Then I tried to refresh. They told me my drive was locked and I needed to unlock the drive, which I don't know how to do. Reset is probably going to be my last option, but I am trying to avoid this at all costs. I don't have a Smartphone, so I can't take a picture, but I attached a picture of what I mean when I say all is repaired.

I finally reset the computer, and now the problem is that my Network controller is not working:
manufacturer is 'Unknown'
--the driver is not installed
--Location: PCI bus 3, device 0, function 0

But I'll just mark it as resolved.
