Tips Needed for Studying - Registry Editor, Dos Commands

Hi, are there any websites that focuses on Registry Editor, Dos Commands, and Group Policy Editor, etc? I'm a "manual reader" type of person so googling doesn't suit my test as the search results are often vague.

P.S. I love to delve deeper into Windows 8 and I am open to any suggestions regarding study habits, what to study and just about anything that you love to share with me.
