Hi All

Just upgraded my Win 10 Home Tablet to Version 1511 and the screen will no longer rotate. Have looked at Device Manger and it indicates that all is OK except Other Devices and it contains an Unknown Device. Not sure if this is relevant to my problem as I thought the Display Adapter controlled what the screen does. I have looked at the Display Settings but no mention off anything being locked. The display adapter is Intel(R) HD Graphics.

Any help appreciated.

If you cannot do it with Shift+alt + arrow key or Ctrl+alt + arrow. The lack of a hotkey option could be because you don’t have the software installed. For example, Intel’s Graphics and Media Control Panel needs to be installed in order to use hotkeys to rotate the display other adapters have different names.

You should be posting this on Windows 10 Forums

Maybe disabling the YMC service will restore the functionality of auto rotation again.

Go to Search, type services.msc and open Services
Find YMC service, right-click on it and go to Properties
Click on Disable, and then to Enable, to reset it
Reset your device and check if the rotation works now

Many thanks for your interest.

I now know why I initially could not find my Post in the 10 forum as I had mistakenly posted here. I did subsequently post it in 10 and found the problem seems to be caused by the upgrade not installing any sensor driver though it is in the driver repository.

Sorry for any trouble
