hi I'm using a new pc i cannot find how to do the shortcut for at .com it is a querty board its not using the same keys as on other pcs

You can also use the numeric keypad (make sure Numlock is ON). Press and hold the Alt key then type 64 on the numeric keypad. When you release the Alt key you should then see the @ appear.

Seeing that you're probably using a UK keyboard, considering the flags below your user name that suggest you come from Ireland and/or the UK, then you should find that the @ key is created by holding the shift key and pressing the key that has the apostrophe, which is two keys right of the L key. As mentioned, you can press and hold the Alt key and type 64 on the numeric pad to get the same character.
