Hey, having a slight issue with a few MOV files. The second my cursor touches the file in the floder it opens then immediately closes. Can't even delete the files! Anyone know how to sort this?
Thanks in advance.

Assuming you mean .mov those are Quicktime movies. Do you have Quicktime installed?
Don't know why you cant delete them.

Yeah, got quicktime, and i tried deleting an update, but still no joy. Only way i can view them is to right click the folder and play all with VLC.

I absolutely HATE having to install another player/viewer for every file type.

So, I've installed the "K-Lite Codec Pack (Mega)" and I play every file type in Windows Media Player.

That's another one of those things that need to be kept up to date. I get regular updates via. File Hippo.

Good Luck!

Perhaps select the Repair option for Quicktime or uninstall/reinstall it?

Years ago, I was sitting here grousing and grumbling about having to install another player for every kind of AV file.
My software Guru was here and he heard me, and he suggested that I get and install the "K-Lite Codec Pack".

I did, but first I UN-installed Quicktime, Real Player and several other mickey mouse players.
Once the K-Lite Codecs were installed and set up, I've never had to install another player, and I play .mov and many other file types with NO problem at all...... using the Windows Media Player.

The K-Lite Codec Pack is like so many other programs, that need to be kept up to date. I always get my updates through 'File Hippo'.

Good Luck,
