Does your motherboard support it? You haven't filled in your system specs so its hard to give any advice on something like this.

I have Ai Suite installed on my Windows 7 drive but when I tried it on Windows 8 CP it crashed my system and I was not able to boot. Had to use a backup image to get my system back. I am going to wait for ASUS to issue a Windows 8 compatible install which probably wont be until Windows 8 release.

My opinion to Asus Ai suite: Don't use it. do you really want that poorly made buggy program to be in charge of your cpu?
I have Asus M2N-e wich has compatibility for it, and the damn program destroyed my old cpu.

My M2N68-AM SE2 and M4N68T-M V2 both support it. I'm not into overclocking so I've never used it. We'll have to wait and see what motherboard the OP is using to go any further. It sounds like it doesn't work in Windows 8 anyway.

Yes I have have a supported MB, I need to use it because there is a function that allows me to remove the overclocking (done via Bios) when i don't need it, and i can also change the Bios QFan profile. To do that it's sufficent to get running Turbo V and Fan expert.

My Mobo is p7p55d however.

Thanks for your answers :)

Most of these Motherboard programs are risky at best.
They are known to cause crashes in Win7 & 8, there are better ways to OC your system.

These utilities are not recommended.
Use at your own risk.

Wondering why you need to remove your OC?

My system, similar to yours, is OC'ed with EIST (speed step) enabled, so runs at an idle of 1.440 GHz and goes up to 3.84 GHz when needed.

ai suite 2 is working fine for me (release preview)
couldnt install from cd (no matter what i choose in compatibility mode, OS was not supported), so downloaded latest version from asus website.
first attempt - instalation failed on some of usb stuff (ai charger or sth else usb related). on second attempt installed only most important parts - turboV evo, digi+, mylogo2, all monitoring, and thermal radar (my mb is sabertooth z77 and this is the only solution to get readouts from all thermal sensors and set active profiles for fans)
no crashes, no compatibility mode, simply works :)

I did the OC by Bios, but now i need those softwares because it's summer and when I use the pc beetwen the 3/6 pm i need to remove the OC, and i want to remove/activate OC without restarting the PC, if you can suggest a software that can do this will be great.

Hi all I have the Asus P8Z68-V board and had the same problems no updates for Asus ai suite ii on my board.
After looking around I found that the P8Z77-V DELUXE has been updated for windows 8.

I downloaded the windows 8 64bit Asus ai suite ii for the P8Z77-V DELUXE and it worked on my board.
Here is the link to the P8Z77-V DELUXE board, Change the OS to windows 8 and its in Utilities.

What is this frustration again ? I'm helping him when I said to not install AI, how can I help someone to install something I know it's not good for the stability of his Windows ? As I said I'm an active member of Asus ROG forum and we have 3 or 4 Asus engineers on the forum so I get my info from the source.

Aside the OP is talking he need it for his OC .... AI is the worst thing to use for OC' you have to do the setting manually in the BIOS/UEFI , if the OP want more info to help him to OC , he will find more help on the forum I mention, as I don't think a Windows 8 forum is the place to talk about it.

aside I'm not the only one to say so
