Solved Wrong Icon for jpg and 7z files

Hello,

i have wrong icons for *.jpg and *.7z files:


I have found the Icon in the "%SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll".
I tried the following things:
- Reset the Icon cache (Icon Cache - Rebuild - Windows 7 Help Forums)
- Scan with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (nothing found)
- sfc /scannow (nothing found)
- change the programm to open these Files (with other Programs the Icon is ok). And change it than back (also the wrong icon)
- Change the Windows design
- Remove/Reinstalled 7-Zip

But the Icons are wrong.

What can i do?

In that case, download and merge the .reg file for the listed jpg option in the tutorial below. It'll restore the default registry entries and association for .jpg files, and hopefully sort this for .jpg files.

thank you very much for this tip! I have only imported the jpeg.reg and now for jpeg it works!
For 7z i had manually deleted the Reg-Keys
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/.7z
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/7z_auto_file
then right-klick on the file "open with" and now the icons are ok.

But why does this happen?
Should I be worrying about a virus or spyware?

I suspect that it was caused by corruption, or something changed the associations by mistake.
