Hp doesn't make a driver for windows 8.1 so is there any other ways to make it work with it? It would suck if i can't have it pla nice with 8.1 because I would have to downgrade back to Windows 7

Use the Windows 7 64 bit driver, it should work okay.

You could also try the HP Universal Print Driver. I cant gaurentee this will work, but it seems like the best solution as there is no Windows 7 or even a Windows Vista driver for that printer listed on their website.
