I have one more problem. My laptop that has Windows 8.1 wont boot to my operating system. it just gives me my manufacteres boot screen and that loading circle thing and it takes forever to load. once it loads, it either goes to the blue screen saying "Your pc ran into a problem and needs to restart" Or it will go into the safe mode screen which i've tried most of the options to fix my computer and none of them work my computer just continues to do the same thing. I would like to get back into my computer without having to buy a new hard drive or a new operating system. I've also tried posting my problem online and peoples solutions dont help.

Possible dying hard drive. You can use what is called a portable S.M.A.R.T. test to see if the hard drive is in fact dying.

No need to buy another copy of 8.
