If you mean for the Recycle Bin, then the tutorial below can help show you how to.
Yes to turn it off in win 8.1 and win 10 .
I think it is the one that is before the bin when you right click on a gopro video mp4 file
and say delete it ask if you are sure you want to do it !
Thank you Brink !

Did you try ALL the methods? (Recycle Bin Properties, Registry File, and Group Policy)

Do you know of a regedit that i can do to make it work ?

The same link that Brink gave has a Reg file you can use.

Here is the link again:

That's what I just posted above is for. ;)

Uncheck the Display delete confirmation dialog box and apply for each drive letter at the top you don't want to see a delete confirmation for.

Doing what I did above had me no longer get a "Are you sure? Y/N" dialog when deleting files or emptying Recycle Bin in Windows 10.

Where are you deleting the files from? Perhaps it may be UAC asking to confirm instead if it's from a system folder location.

Brink Hi and good morning to you.
The files come off of a real small sd card in my gopro camera or i can take the sd out and put it in a card reader !
And work from that card , those files when deleted do not go to the bin they are deleted for ever ,
i use the gopro as a dash camera and i have to delete them several times a day , and to me it is really a pain in the you know what to have the popup confirmatory ask me if i am sure i want to delete them !
In win 7 i can uncheck that box and it never ask me again but going to 8 or 10 it just does not let me do what i want .
I have never used group thing so i cant tell if it works or not !
Thanks for your help on this !

Ah, ok. I see why this is happening now.

Removable storage does not have a Recycle Bin. Since it doesn't have a Recycle Bin, it will always ask Y/N to permanently delete. :(
